About Us

The PHA was set up when founder, Katherine Mc Bean, realised that there was a growing need for alternative support for people with health concerns.

Our hub is all about helping and supporting  the community to become empowered and feel confident to take charge of their own health in a positive way and to become knowledgeable of the many ways that alternative practices can compliment Allopathic medicine to maximise good health and wellbeing.

We hold regular meetings on the last Thursday of every month at 2 .00 pm at Central Hall,  Station Road , Hastings TN34 1NG . All are welcome to come!

So far , we have organised talks on all things health related; from how to get the best quality water to how you can forage and use herbs for healing purposes. In addition, we host Health and Wellbeing events to showcase a variety of local complimentary health practitioners and to offer the community taster sessions.

All newcomers most welcome and ideas for further talks would be very welcomed! You can contact us by email through this website :)

How do we achieve this? By creating an organic, people-led approach to healthcare, bringing everything back to community level, for The People, by The People.

We’re not here to tell you what to do. We’re here to facilitate your ideas, inspirations and creations within your local communities. We’re about collaborations, connections and support. Quite simply, we want to see The People unite!

We understand that health is far more than treating the symptoms of disease. We know that true health comes from taking an integrated approach, considering mind, body and spirit.

We want to support you, the people of the UK, to take ownership of your own health choices. How that looks will be different for each person but we want to encourage every single one of you to start viewing these choices as an investment in the health of your future self.

Here at The People’s Health Alliance, we hope to inspire you to shift your perceptions and mindset around healthcare. It’s time to start listening to yourself. Your body can tell you all sorts of things when you quieten your mind and really start to get in tune with it. We have been conditioned to look outside of ourselves for too long. It’s time to go within. It’s time to reconnect with nature and all of the healing qualities it holds.

PHA is an apolitical organisation. We welcome the opportunity to work with all political party members across the UK, and will talk with all political parties but do not align ourselves directly with any political organisation.
