Exclusive Experiences

The PHA was set up after founder Katherine Mcbean realized that there was a need for some kind of alternative support for people with health concerns that were not being met by the NHS and with Doctors surgeries that are seemingly unable to cope with the normal day to day appointments.

This coupled with extreme waiting times, difficulty getting through to local surgeries on the phone and the constant pushing of experimental procedures that haven’t been put through the normal rigorous trials and the escalating amount of drugs like Statins (that cause many side effects) that we are being given more and more often, it`s no wonder that people are beginning to wonder what is happening to our health service.

Everything is very much in the beginning stages at the moment and we are learning as we go along. The idea being that we are all in this together and here to support each other .This is being run By the People For the People instead of relying on the State to look after us (many are feeling let down and at the same time controlled like never before) we are taking our health and wellbeing into our own hands. Although there is obviously still going to be a need for emergency treatments and traditional medicine going forward, hopefully with a greater awareness of self care there will be less need to rely on an unsatisfactory State run health service.

We are holding monthly meetings that are open to anyone in the community who`d like to come along and have their say. New ideas are encouraged and support is given with a cup of tea!

Volunteers are always needed and no previous experience is necessary. We are looking at different ways to offer low cost treatments including:

  • Donations according to affordability
  • Paying forward to help those in need
  • Offering a sliding scale of fees according to personal affordability

We are continuing to look out for suitable venues to hold our regular monthly meetings and to provide a space for the practitioners to work from. Up to now we have been using the Ore community centre , this centre has great potential and we are applying for funding and grants to bring the center up to date and to be more user friendly, it`s a work in progress! So we are now looking for other venues in the Hastings Ore area to build up a solid base for our projects.

Until we find the perfect space we will continue at the Ore centre or the West Hill community centre. Meetings are announced in our monthly newsletter and on the Telegram group: PHA Ore and Hastings you can download the Telegram app if you don’t already have it and type in the name, press join and we will add you to the group.

The venues will eventually become Hubs that will be regularly used by the PHA

We also aim to organize regular talks on everything from your medical legal rights to the best detox protocols available right now

These hubs in time will also be run as drop in centres for the community providing alternative health care including mental health support for those finding these times difficult.

In this crazy uncertain world right now, we want to bring in a completely new way of supporting the local community and hope you will join us.

We are always looking for volunteers to help out on the events on the day - collecting the chairs - laying out the tables - collecting info for the website and much more - email us This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - love to hear from you
